The Master Suite, occupying about a third of the inn’s main floor living space, exudes old world luxury and elegance. It is our signature guest accommodation, one that guests love to return to year after year. The grand living room with 12 foot ceilings and 7 foot windows has a French antique armoire, dry bar, personal refrigerator-freezer, a plush sofa that converts into double bed, two leather armchairs flanking a working fireplace, various tables, footstools, floor-to-ceiling ornate mirror, and the original parquet flooring topped with a handsome Oriental rug. The separate bedchamber is furnished with an antique pencil-and-post canopy queen bed flanked by a pair of rare French Empire end tables. The 2-part bath suite is the epitome of luxury with a vast green marble shower and a deep, powerful whirlpool bathtub. The Master Suite's extravagant space, mellow woods, hunter greens and burgundies, and its rich furnishings and appointments, all combine to evoke the restfulness and quietude of a stately English manor house.
